I never even got to meet Jourdan until right before her wedding. Her mom booked the venue 6 weeks before their wedding. Short engagements while not always common, are absolutely possible! You can still create the perfect day for yourself with a short turn-around by hiring fantastic wedding professionals.

There is a very sweet story to Jourdan and Matthew's wedding. About 5 hours before her ceremony was to begin, it looked like it was going to rain. I asked if she wanted to move the ceremony indoors so we would have time to make the transition. Jourdan was calm and peaceful and didn't feel the need to stress about something that couldn't be changed. Four hours before the ceremony, we had a true Oklahoma-style torrential downpour. The good news is, the storm was short and sweet.  

The storm changed the July weather from hot and unbearable to absolutely gorgeous. We wiped down the chairs for the ceremony and the clouds made the most beautiful accessory to their wedding.
